So I ended up losing 88p which I can handle, the results really did start to get quite unpredictable towards the end of the world cup and the only thing that seemed to be worth betting on over the 90 minutes was the draw. Worth considering for next time as betting on the draw or 0-0 and 1-1 results over the end of the cup would have produced very large profits - I guess all the teams that got through had to really tighten their defences meaning very low scoring games and and very determined teams who would equalise if one got passed them.

Still an overall profit for me of over £2000 in 3 weeks completely tax free, so Im happy :)

I dont think anybody who really knows about football would think that over 90 minutes japan had any chance at all of even drawing when they saw that line up. Japan did of course put up a very good fight and score the first goal but that line up for Brazil was better than world class, it was a world cup winning team in my opinion.

Well there go my plans right out of the window for recovering the losses from win, win, win from the weekend, I really was expecting a high scoring game betweem Argentina and Holland as almost every other game between them has been, It cost me a large amount of my winnings unfortunately.

I did do some bets today but only broke even, well lost £1, It was just a pleasure to watch the England game, a very exiting game it was as well.

Sunday 18th June

One good result for the compilersystem, 3 'Freak Results' for the Win, Win, Win system since the Portugal game on Saturday.

I placed straight bets on the 2 games on Saturday at the best prices available and both lost, well Italy drew but the bet lost.

For the France v Korea game I decided that France was a very good bet and quite good value at 1.48 which is what I backed the team on at Betfair, I watched the game and layed them off just before Korea scored, the price was 1.08 just before they scored netting me just under 40% profit on that bet.

I didnt think Korea could score for quite a while. but France was out of luck and the game France was having was terrible. Then near the end Korea started to show their determination to score a goal and after seeing them play for a short while I realised the lay price of 1.08 was very good and stuck 2 bets on about 30 seconds before Korea scored (It takes 5 seconds for the bet to place)

What a great performance by Argentina, s ome truely amazing games and a real pleasure to watch, Im wishing I had backed Argentina on Betfair to win the cup now the price as more than halfed, I dont think anybody really expected this kind of performance from them. Unfortunately this has meant the price for Brazil and England to win have got worst, but dont worry we will still make very decent profits from The Betfair Bet, Im sure of it.

I dont really know what to say about the England game, the true odds where not 1 / 5 as I got, maybe 1 / 2, I think great care is needed with the compilersystem in this competition.
